Dr.-Ing. Tomas Reiter

Dr. Tomas Reiter joined Infineon Technologies AG in Neubiberg in 2010. As a Senior Principal Engineer, he is responsible for defining the products of future power modules for electric vehicles. He received his Dr.-Ing. degree from the Technical University of Munich in cooperation with the BMW Group, focusing on the control of DC/DC converters for automotive multi-voltage power nets.

With more than 40 conference and peer-reviewed journal articles, as well as over 25 granted patents, in areas such as coreless current sensing, gate drivers, SiC MOSFETs, IGBTs, and power modules – he has significantly shaped the landscape of automotive power electronics. Furthermore, he actively contributed to the development of the ECPE Guideline AQG324. Since 2012, he has been a member of the technical advisory board of the EEHE conference and was elevated to IEEE Senior Member in 2026.

At the end of the first day, we invite all stakeholders and participants to a special event location for an evening of sharing and dinner: Erich-Brost-Pavillon.

At a height of 38 meters on the roof of the former coal washing plant, the event room, which is glazed on three sides, offers a breathtaking panoramic view – from the arena on Schalke to the Essen skyline and the Oberhausen gasometer.

The Erich Brost Pavilion is located in the coal washing plant of the Zollverein Essen UNESCO World Heritage Site.
